DescriptionBioISI is a new institute created in 2015 with the aim of addressing biological questions using integrative – Systems – approaches, at the forefront of life sciences research, in Portugal and internationally. By gathering scientists from bio-, physics and computational sciences, BioISI benefits from a unique multidisciplinary environment to foster the creative thinking of researchers and advanced students to solve problems through integrative approaches. BioISI research and training activities occur in 5 Thematic Lines – Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Bioinformatics and Biological Chemistry.
